Theresa Buchheister is a theatre artist originally from Manhattan, Kansas. She made things and played from 2000-2004 at the University of Kansas and has since tried her hand at performing, writing, directing and building theatre events in New York. She got her start in the city performing in

, written and directed by Richard Foreman, and has worked in various ways
at many theatres throughout the city and Brooklyn. In December 2006 she co-founded Title:Point Productions and since has directed two original works and an adaptation of
S
ophocles' Antigone
, adapted by Brecht, translated by Judith Malina
. This summer she
will be performing in Title:Point's Incubator Residency production.
